Aurora Borealus Over Connecticut

Strong solar activity over the past few weeks have caused mass ejections of particles from the sun which have passed the earth and resulted in very active aurora activity. The northern lights have been visible as far south as Arkansas and have been clearly visible here in Connecticut.
